Tonebone
pedals can now connect using 9VDC supplies!
Vancouver BC: Radial Engineering Ltd. is pleased to announce the Tailbone, a simple yet unique device that converts the power from two 9VDC power supplies to 15 Volts to allow non-tube Tonebone pedals like the Switchbone and Loopbone to be used with second party multi-output pedal supplies such as the VooDoo Lab Pedal-power™ or Dunlop Brick™. According
to Radial Chief Engineer Denis Rozon: “No one likes
wall warts… those big ugly power supplies that seem
to be used everywhere these days. But the simple fact is:
they are convenient, can be safely used around the world
and are cost effective, so they are here to stay! In recent
years, several manufacturers have produced replacement boxes
that can power several 9V devices at a time. But being as
they typically only power 9V pedals such as those made by
Boss™ they do not provide sufficient voltage to run
higher end devices like the Tonebones. The Tailbone provides
a simple solution that combines the two 9V sources, regulates
the voltage and spits out a solid 15 Volts to sufficiently
power most of our products. Best of all it is small and
easy to fit on a pedalboard!” For more information, contact Radial Engineering:1638 Kebet Way, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 5W9.
