If you don't see the question you had in mind here, feel free to enter in the form provided along with your email address so we may send the reply directly to you. Thanks for your participation!

Does the DAN-TX have any analog outputs? Can it be used as a standard DI box?

No. The DAN-TX is only equipped with a Dante enabled Ethernet output. An Instrument switch converts one of the inputs to a Thru for connection to a stage amplifier, but there are no balanced audio outputs.

Will the DAN-TX work with Power over Ethernet (PoE), or do I need to connect an external power supply?

The DAN-TX will operate with Power over Ethernet. An external power adapter is included for use with networks that do not provide PoE.

Do I need to configure anything on the DAN-TX when connecting to a network?

No, the DAN-TX is plug-and-play. As soon as it is connected to the Dante network it will appear as a 2-channel input device.

Do I need to use special Ethernet switches to connect my Dante network?

No, Dante will work with any switch. Please refer to the Audinate® Dante™ website for more information.

Does the DAN-TX support Dante Domain Manager (DDM)?

Yes, all of our current firmware updates for our DiNET transmitters and receivers will allow the devices to run on DDM. You can download the latest version of the firmware from our website here.
