Trimode Specifications

Built like a tank and designed to fit on most pedalboards, the Tonebone Trimode is tremendously powerful. It is in fact a hybrid that combines the control of a dual-stage solid-state front end with the warmth and natural even harmonics generated by a 12AX7 tube. The tube is mounted on its side to lower the pedal profile for easy foot pedal action. This is powered by a high output 15 volt – 400 milliamp supply to deliver more than twice the power of a typical 9V PSU. Power is internally regulated and filtered to eliminate noise.

To deliver maximum tone, full-size discrete parts are employed throughout. These are hand inserted and then soldered to a double-sided circuit board with a full-surface ground plane making the Tonebone Trimode the quietest pedal in its class. High lifecycle footswitches combine with steel shafted potentiometers for maximum durability. The outer case is made from heavy duty 14 gauge steel to eliminate stress on the circuit board to prevent premature part failure. The Trimode is then finished in a durable baked enamel finish.

The Trimode is made with pride in Canada.
